Personae

Personae is a series of artworks that challenges the concept of the portrait. It consists of identical reversal film slide light boxes, of which each synthesizes a face out of sixteen image fragments.
At the intersection of photography and assemblage, the pieces interrogate the depictability of a face in fluctuations of perspective, exposure and unity.
